Lucas Height II. Australian nuclear waste cannot enter into Argentina.

The Court of Justice forced the government to prevent the entering of Australian "waste and radioactive waste" into the country. The court verdict was based on the claim presented by environmentalist Juan Schroeder. November, 2006.
 

Again, Argentina is threatened by a possible nuclear dump.

A government official wants congress to authorize the nuclear agreement with Australia and for Argentina to accept and reprocess nuclear radioactive waste from abroad, "the dirtiest most dangerous and profittable business on the planet". August, 2004. 

Argentina: more legal troubles for INVAP and the contract. The Ombudsman Office of the city of Buenos Aires presented a “protection appeal” against the Federal Government “for not having provided information on the contract”. Such appeal was presented to the Judge Sergio Fernández, from the Federal Administrative Court n° 3. October, 2002. 

Argentina: 24,000 physicians rejected the entering of Australian exhausted nuclear fuel into Argentina and asked the Parliament not to approve the nuclear Agreement. 7, 000 of them are members of “FEMECON” (Federation of Phisicians from the Great Buenos Aires) and 17,000 from “FEMEBA” (Federation of physicians from the province of Buenos Aires). May, 2002. 

Argentina: two milestones in the battle against the sending of australian radioactive waste to Argentina. First Milestone: The Federal Council of the Environment in Argentina (Cofema). April, 2002. 

Two Federal Prosecutors launched an investigation over both the contract ANSTO-INVAP and the nuclear agreement signed signed by Australia and Argentina “for containing possible irregularities”. It´s the first claim presented at the court against the import of australian nuclear waste. March, 2002.
